Mission

Today, evangelizing youths in Korea is very difficult, for they must learn an assortment of things in order to get a good job. To spread the Gospel to Korean youths, and college trained intellectuals, God through our institute has opened a great mission opportunity. One of many powerful gospel outreach opportunitiues is Bible Camp, where yearly we baptize many precious souls into Christ's kingdom.

Job Description

You daily will teach five hours of classes in conversational English and one Bible class. The Institute provides all the teaching materials for the classes. Class procedures and methods are taught during new teachers' orientation. SDA Language Institute has a year-length program, divided into six two-month terms. Each term begins during odd months and consists of 36 class days.

Requirements

A volunteer missionary teacher must have the following qualifications in order to satisfy the requirements set by the Korean government and the SDA church organization:

1. Baptized Seventh-day Adventist Church membership

2. Fluent English

3. 21-60 years of age

4. Mandatory E-2 teaching visa (or F-4 for Korean Americans):

  • A completed Bachelor's degree (any major)
  • Citizenship from American flag the U.S.A., Candian flag Canada, South African flag South Africa, Australian flag Australia, Kiwi flag New Zealand, or Great Britain flag the United Kingdom. No exceptions will be made.
